SHORTAGE IN
IMMERSION

Description AXE 1

Description of the whole ACUFC project ( AXE 1 )

The objective of the study is to understand why students from immersion programs choose to pursue their post-secondary studies in one of the official languages French / English. Specifically, this project seeks to identify the needs of high school students who come from immersion and who wish to pursue undergraduate and / or graduate studies in French. We will collect their perceptions of their experiences in applying for admission, choosing an appropriate course of study, and opportunities for future professional development.

Description AXE 3

Description of the whole ACUFC project ( AXE 3 )

The goal of this project is to identify the needs and challenges related to the assessment of French faced by teachers and administrators of immersion programs (FI) and French second language programs (FSL).

We aim to provide practical and informed suggestions on French assessment that would enable leadership teams to support (a) teachers, (b) students, and (c) study programs.
